We are a lot of things, but first and foremost a small destination cross country and snowshoe ski resort in the tall pines of the Superior National Forest. Our winter weekends are a complete wilderness experience escape with everything included. A single price per person includes lodging, meals, outdoor hot tub, lakeside sauna (with a hole cut in the ice, of course) and Saturday night entertainment. There are 30k of single track Nordic groomed trails and over 5 miles of marked snowshoe trails. All these are directly accessible from the lodge. Choose from our modern log home or our cozy rustic cabins dating back to the 1920’s. Get away to a place that time left behind and experience the north woods the way it used to be.
